![]() ![]() The supporting cast was solid as well but these two ladies were the centerpiece of the film. She has mad a name for herself in the indie horror scene and this is another fine example of just how talented she really is. It is hard to truly see her performance with her face censored but she did an amazing job. Allison Egan was purely chilling in her performance. Her Name Was Torment II was a decent film but was definitely at the bottom of the list when it comes to Mills’ flicks. My favorite films of his, hands down, is The Puppet Monster Massacre and Easter Casket so that should give you a clue as to what kind of films I typically enjoy. The only reason I even watched it was because Mills directed it. I liked Her Name Was Torment but it wasn’t really the kind of film I would go for. Regardless of his budget or type of film he is making, they always look their best and never show their true budget. As a director he is truly a force to be reckoned with. I like Dustin Mills due to his range of films. When the good doctor gets too close to Torment and learns of a friend he accidentally goes to far and pushes her into murdering her friend who is also a patient there and is forced to resign.**Spoiler Alert** She was mutilated by so called “angels” and kill because they must. Her proposed sister, Agony (Madison), is much like Torment. ![]() He has been working with Torment for some time and suspects that the murders she committed was not done alone and a “sister” helped her. **Spoiler Alert**The film once again follows Torment (Egan) who is now a patient under a doctor (Mills) who is always heard but never seen. I couldn’t wait to finally see it so I tossed it in the second I had a chance. A friend of mine bought a copy of it and gave it to me after watching it. I waited on news of the film and some how it slipped by my and I missed it. This was not one of my favorite Mills’ flick but it was still a damn fine film. Is he going to take you down a twisted road full of torture, bloodshed, and debauchery? Or, is he going to toss you in the middle of a bloody flick full of bright colors and beautiful scenes set against the backdrop of a traditional horror comedy? Either way, he is a director that I greatly admire and respect.īack last year Dustin Mills announced a follow up to his Crumpleshack Films hit Her Name Was Torment. You never know what he is going to do to your mind next. ![]() Dustin Mills is one of those directors that I fucking love. ![]()
